BITS

Phil Stibbe, aka "Bits", died in June 2012 at the age of 71. We're still very cross with him for doing so.

Bits liked to think, talk and write. So that is what he did, and here is what we show of it.

The Contracted State provides a Common Manifesto that makes the case for a contractual democracy to provide a path to freedom from "corporate slavery". It's all quite sensible really, and maybe one day we'll see these ideas translated into solid policy actions...

Unfortunately, we can't really understand much of what he wrote in Anatomy of Information and, even if he was still here with us, he probably wouldn't be able to explain it all any clearer. Because that was just his way. But still, we think there are people out there who can understand it, and hopefully they will find it interesting, or even useful.

Others may enjoy his poetry. We did, and still do. May these poems give others pleasure and show a little insight into the life and passions of a man we all loved dearly.
