quickening spirits

airbound with the skylark's rise

spring into the blue

for lazy summers

one and one do not make two

it doesn't matter

​

taking leave from trees,

gently dropping hints of age

fall upon deaf ears

​

snow-muffled senses

winter in kind memories

beside the mind's hearth
